Pricing
Home
inspection pricing depends on a variety of factors such as type of
home, square footage, number of heating/cooling units, basement,
crawl space, attic, etc. Our prices are extremely competitive
in the Chicagoland market. Please call for a personal consultation
and we'll provide you with a fair price for your quality
inspection.
Questions We'll Ask You
You certainly don't need to know the answers to all of these
questions, but the more you can tell us before the inspection, the
better prepared we can be for you.
- What type of home is it? Condo, loft, townhome, single-family
etc.
- Is it located in the city or suburbs?
- How many bedrooms and bathrooms?
- Is there a basement? Finished or unfinished?
- Is there an attic and/or crawl space?
- What is the approximate square footage?
- How many furnaces or air conditioning units are in the
home?
- Are there any special features or particular concerns you want
us to be aware of?
Questions to Ask Us (Or any other
inspector)
We hope we've answered all of these questions on our web site.
The important thing to remember is that every home inspector is
different, so every home inspection is different. Price is not
always the best way to determine if you will be satisfied with your
inspection. We really encourage you to ask some questions before
making a decision on an inspector. The most important thing is to
find someone you feel comfortable with, someone with a solid
reputation in the marketplace and someone who will take the time to
answer all of your questions. We are confident you have found all
of these qualifications with All About Homes.
- Are you licensed in the state of Illinois?
- Are you bonded and insured? What is the amount of your
liability insurance?
- What kind of report will I receive and when will I receive
it?
- What is the focus of your home inspection?
- What systems will you evaluate?
- What if I have questions after the inspection?
- How are your inspectors trained? What are your
qualifications?
- Has your company ever been sued or had an insurance claim
against it?
- Do you encourage the client to attend the inspection?
